Indians attributed these qualities to the animals represented; Eagle-higher mental awareness, Lizard-dreamtime, Horse-power, Mountain Lion-awareness from an independent path less traveled, Turtle-mother earth, Glass Spirits and Angel, Fish-water represents the spirit world, Angular lines-mountains "It is an honor to acknowledge the beings of the area and aspects I identify with." |
'Park de la Montagne'-"spontaneous acts of art and consciousness" was created by the artist without normal restrictions to give the public exposure and pleasure viewing pieces of artwork not only created by Dale but other artists as well.
Dale is also a member of the Summit County Arts Council and has created a program where patrons can donate materials or money for creating future artworks and receive a tax deduction in the process. It is his hope that the 20 acre parcel the park is located on will eventually be purchased and the sculpture park donated to the county or state.

Montagne Studio is a design and execution multifunction entity. Dale Montagne has been a professional artist for over twenty years. He has the unusual ability to mix and match different materials, colors, textures, styles and functions to create unique works in a variety of sizes. Dale is capable of bringing fine art to a practical application. Since a major portion of Montagne's work is commissioned, he works well on special projects.
